Dreaming Through Life

It's somewhat disconcerting to realize that I find out where the next four years could be on April 1, and I have to decide where I spend those years on May 1. College peope suck. Admissions offices suck. And the two people who suck even more than that? Keith Skinner and Thelma Carpenter-Ellis.

Why Suckage?

1. Mrs. Ellis doesn't come in until at least 9 am sometimes. Oftentimes.
2. Mrs. Ellis likes to take lunch from noon to 1: 30.
3. Oftentimes, Mrs. Ellis leaves school at 2 or 2:30
4: Mrs. Ellis is always on the phone (making her unavailable).
5: Oftentimes, Mrs. Ellis decides she's seen too many students and just shuts her door.
6. Mrs. Ellis did not write me a counselor rec. She copied and pasted my student evaluation of myself.
7. Mrs. Ellis looses papers on the gaping black vortex of hell that she calls her desk.
8. Mrs. Ellis referrs to herself in the third person.

Why does Keith suck?

1. I have to see him when Thelma isn't available (For the above reasons), and he gets mad at having to deal with me when he's not my counselor.
2. Keith does not like that I have 3 free periods. I think he feels that I'm not productive with the time.
3. Keith doesn't like me taking astronomy online. Why? The school has to pay.

Sometimes I feel like my quest for education is not given the proper attention and encouragement.
